Most students are from single-parent low-income families. A key distinguishing factor of the school is the enrichment program that integrates community partners such as Hereshoff Marine Museum, Girl Scouts, Gamm Theatre, Mentor RI, and STEAMBox, into both the classroom and afterschool programs.
